The Origin of Kamnol
Kamnol takes its name from the Korean word “깜놀 (Kamnol),” an abbreviation of “깜짝 놀랐다 (Kamjjak Nollatta),” meaning “Wow! Surprised!” This name reflects our strong desire to provide services that exceed expectations and deliver positive surprises and inspiration. The name is also inspired by a deep affection for Korean culture.
After graduating from the university in Canada, our founder gained invaluable experience in hospitality while working at the Imperial Hotel Tokyo as a new graduate. Dreams of becoming “Okami”, the traditional general manager of a ryokan (Japanese traditional hotel) shaped a passion for helping others and finding fulfillment in hearing “thank you.” This spirit of service remains deeply rooted in Kamnol’s approach to supporting companies in Talent Acqusition and Human Resources.
At Kamnol, we don’t offer ordinary services.
